Highlights last year included: a talk and tour by Mark Latham from Urban Splash to mark the 50th Anniversary of the official opening of Park Hill: and a guided walk with Landscape Architect, Richard Watts, from the Peace Gardens in the city centre to Park Hill via the Sheaf Valley Park/Arboretum to celebrate the city on the First National Civic Day (25 June 2011).
Sheffield Civic Trust is actively involved with Civic Voice, the national organisation for civic societies. We hosted Civic Voice’s 2011 AGM and Convention in Sheffield and were proud to welcome representatives from civic trusts and societies from all over the country to the city.
